Uthayam Pre School Education Support
SLCF has taken an initiative to sponsor the pre school children of Uthayam, Badulla Sri Lanka in obtaining learning materials
Atchuvely, Camel Academy Computer Programe
This was our major project of 2020. We helped create a Computer Centre and Computer and Language Training at the Carmel Academy. The Apostolic Carmel Academy is a Teaching Facility for young girls created by the Convent of Our lady of Lanka in Acthuvely (near Jaffna in the North of Sri Lanka). They asked for our help to create this facility. We made three donations totalling £3,428:
Enabling IT support and smart classrooms for 2 schools
SLCF has partered with a local IT partner in Sri Lanka to enable smart classrooms, for schools in Sri Lanka who are in much need of IT resources like computers, and softwares to enable their digital education.
Apostolic Carmel Academy - Providing a Smart TV
SLCF provided funds to buy a Smart TV to support the digital journey for the students at Atchuvely.
St.Mary’s College Trincomalee, Sri Lanka Computer Hub
SLCF has taken an initiative to support by helping to set up a computer support and computer courses for St.Mary’s college Trincomalee.
Innovative Laptop and Projector Donation - English Language Learning Centre
SLCF Supported Innovative English Language Learning Centre in Batticaloa by to donating a projector and laptop for English language teaching.
Infra structure support - Madhu Matha & Joseph master memorial English school
The development of the first dedicated, modern Primary School in Mannar in North West Sri Lanka is a project we have been involved with since 2015. During this period we contributed £2,762, This was done in four payments all for building materials

SLCF with the support of BQu Services provided the resources, support and connectivity to support online learning.

Learning Material Support - Municipal Council Matale
Matala Council has 10 Montessori Schools with 300 children educated free of charge. These schools were closed due to COVID. They requested educational material to enable these disadvantaged children to study and do work at home. Each child's pack was LKR 1,000 (about £4) and include a book, a scrapbook, a binder, scissors, pencils, a ruler, an eraser, and other small items.
